Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools recently purchased Capstone, an online interactive library. Capstone offers over one hundred books in a variety of levels and genres. Students can choose to read these books independently or along with the computer. This program includes free access to CapstoneKids, a companion website that provides more information on Capstone content and characters. Students can work on numerous of activities or games that correlate with the book they’re reading. Another resource Capstone offers is FactHound; this website extends student learning with kid-friendly websites. These websites were carefully selected by educators and contain safe content that are grade level appropriate.
